One of these is the "Dos Mares", where the peninsula is at its narrowest, and where there is a fine bathing possibilities on both sides.
It is facing south, in quiet surroundings with tennis courts and swimming pools edge to edge of the beach.
The other two apartments are located on the outer La Manga peninsula, "Veneziola Golf II",
where there are excellent opportunities to develop golf skills in beautiful surroundings. There are also gym,
spa and Turkish bath to free use of the resident in one of the blocks.
The La Manga Area
La Manga is located in the province of Murcia, located southeast of Spain, about 120 km south of Alicante.
La Manga is a sandy tongue of about 22 km, which frame the bay of Mar Menor.
On the opposite side of the bay you will find the Mediterranean Sea.
With over 40 kilometers of child-friendly sandy beaches, 320 days of sunshine a year and water temperatures exceeding 30 degrees in summer, the area is second to none.
Even in the middle of winter, there are pleasant temperatures perfect for golf and outdoor sports, and it is entirely possible to take a dip in the salt and mineral rich Mar Menor.
You get at all the feeling of living on a South Sea island, and you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset over the ocean.
La Manga is rich in wildlife, sports and cultural experiences such as, surfing, kiting, water skiing, scuba diving, boating, tennis and spa.
Mar Menor is also popular among rheumatics because of its healthy clay.
Zoco is known as the heart of La Manga in the season, with its restaurants, shops, shopping and over 30 bars and discos.
Marina Puerto Tomas Maestre is located about 15 km out on the peninsula, in walking distance from the apartments,
where you will find pleasant surroundings with restaurants, boating, excellent fishing and swimming opportunities,
as well as rental of cars, bikes, motorcycles, jet ski and boats.
Cabo de Palos which is located entirely within the mainland, is among other things, known for its lighthouse,
its famous fish restaurants and diving school with good diving opportunities nearby. There are also a large market here every Sunday.
Within a radius of one hour drive there are 25 first-class golf courses, most of them 18-hole. La Manga Club is one of the greatest,
and here you will also find the training camp for the Norwegian Football Association.
Spain's only cricket club is located at La Manga, as well as a Go-cart track.
There are several small boat harbors, marinas, restaurants, department stores and specialty stores of various kinds,
and not to forget the unique winery in Los Belones, a small village 10 minutes drive north of La manga.
There is also a rich bird life here, with a flamingo colony in San Pedro del Pinatar, situated on the mainland on the north side of Mar Menor.
In the wildlife reserve Sierra Espuna, another 1.5 hour drive into the country, you have great views across the Murcia region and may,
if you are lucky, observe large herds of mountain goats.
An half hour drive south is the famous port city of Cartagena with its war bastions, bullfighter arena,
Roman amphi theater and one of the world's oldest U-boats; "Peral" from 1888.
There are also good opportunities for shopping, gastronomic meals and partying.
If you want to visit a big city, you will find Murcia and Madrid, respectively, 1 and 4 hours away by car.
